Helping Hands

Helping Hands for Copper Basin Bible Camp began informally in the late 1970's with the wives of Board members getting together when "the guys" had their monthly meetings. It started with chit chat but progressed to "What can we do?" In November of 1980, seven of these women got together and formally created Helping Hands. Back then, as it is today, its primary goal is to help raise funds for the completion and continued operation of Copper Basin Bible Camp in Prescott Arizona. Now women from all over the state (and other states as well) are members. We even have some male associate members.

Funds for the Camp are raised through membership dues, craft sales and sales of other items, and of course the annual Sweetheart Dinner and Auction in February. Additionally, funds are often sent in lieu of flowers in the memory of a deceased loved one.

We would love to have you become a part of Helping Hands and help support the beautiful camp that the Lord has entrusted to us. There are presently about 200 members, nearly half of which are life members. Membership is only $10 per year or you can be a Life Member for only $100. The Helping Hands ladies meet on the first Tuesday of each month at the Eastside Church of Christ building @ 7:30 pm. (Sept. through May) Attendance at meetings is entirely optional.
